Recently Research In Motion (RIM) has launched another smartphone under the Blackberry Curve label which is named as 9360. After the successful launch of Blackberry Curve 9630 in October 1st, now comes the turn for Curve 9360 smartphone. Currently after the launch of its tablet PC Blackberry Playbook, RIM
has gained high response from the Indian Market and hence it is expanding its brand range rapidly with various modifications and new features in each successive smartphone. Let’s have look on the features and specifications of this smartphone Blackberry Curve 9360.

As you can see in the image of Blackberry Curve 9360, as the name says it is having a curved shaped edge towards its top and bottom on the front, left and right side of the phone. Unlike other phone, it is highly slim and light weight due it complete plastic surface and sleek and smooth outer finish. The blackberry curve 9360 is having 2.44 inch screen which corresponds to a 480 x 360 resolutions of screen display. Like other blackberry models, this phone has also been blessed with optical track pad which makes easy to navigate through the blackberry interface.

Well talking about the hardware capabilities of this smartphone, Blackberry curve 9360 is having an 800 MHz processor and has a virtual memory of 512 MB RAM and another 512 MB of internal storage memory. This phone has HSPA connectivity and also possesses the other data transfer medium like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.1 b/g/n. For navigation purposes, this phone has been provided with A-GPS navigation system.

One of the most significant features of this smartphone is that it runs on the newest Blackberry OS 7. The new Blackberry OS 7 has an upgraded web browser but lacks flash support for browsing the flash based websites. While talking about its multimedia features, Blackberry Curve 9360 comes with a 5 Megapixel Camera with LED flash. But a point to be noted is that the camera supports fixed focus rather than auto-focus. This phone has a VGA video recording camera and a video player which can play AVI and MP4 format videos at 720 p resolution.

Now coming to the price tag of this phone, Blackberry Curve 9360 has been launched with a price tag of Rs 19,990 which is quite high price when considering the low features in its media profile otherwise it is really a smartphone when its appearance, connectivity and hardware features are concerned.
