BlackBerry Porsche Design P9981 Smartphone – Features and Review.
After a break of few days due to Diwali festival, again Speaking Technology has come alive with its newest post after Diwali. Well as is seen in the title of this post, here we will take a quick look over the features of the Blackberry’s newest smartphone which has been announced recently and has been in the news just a few hours after its announcement.
The Research In Motion that is RIM has announced the release of the newest phone which is being called as Blackberry Porsche Design P9881. In the previous post about Blackberry's similar models, we have discussed about Blackberry curve 9630 and 9360, but this device is a bit different one. Let us take a quick look on the features and specifications of this device and finally a small review upon it.
Well as announced by RIM, this model seems to have a tough but not rough exterior with its steel body with smooth outer body finish. It is having a leather covered exterior which makes the look of this device quite different from some of the other Blackberry tablets and smartphones.
Talking about the system configuration of this device, it is equipped with a processor having speed of 1 GHz. Along with that this device will run on the latest operating system of Blackberry that is Blackberry 7 OS. The special feature of this OS on this device is that the users can make use of customized Porsche Design Font and icons.
Talking about some of its media capability, It has been provided with a 5 megapixel camera. When its video recording capability is concerned, it can record HD videos within 720 pixels.
In addition to all those mentioned above, this smartphone comes with NFC. Well talking about the price of Porsche Design P9881, It comes with a price tag of $2000, and will be available in the retail market by the end of this year probably between the last week of November and first week of December.
Well looking parallel to the price tag of Porsche Design P9881 and the processor speed and the 5 MP camera, this phone is quite appealing one. Moreover, its smooth and tough body structure truly makes it quite expensive, but as per my opinion when some other blackberry models or Samsung smartphones are concerned, Porsche Design P9881 is quite highly expensive.
